Amenities
Despite its roots as a sleepy, salt-water-fishing and sunbathing destination for Texans, when it comes to amenities, Bolivar has managed to provide all the basics and then some without becoming too touristy. It has bait shops, restaurants, grocery stores and parks. It even has an ACE hardware, Radio Shack and water park.
Be sure to eat at Stingaree's, the favorite seafood restaurant for folks far and wide. Try one (or many) their eight different styles of oysters or their snapper. And, you can sail your boat right up to their front door.
