From Houston, TX

Take I-45 south to Galveston. IH-45 becomes Broadway. Continue straight down Broadway until you reach the beach. Turn left and continue along Seawall Blvd. to Ferry Road, (two stop lights). Turn left on Ferry Road and go down a couple of miles to the ferry landing. The ferry is free and takes about 15 minutes to travel across Galveston Bay to Bolivar Peninsula. Once you exit the ferry, drive along HWY 87 about 20 miles passing through Gilchrist. Just after Gilchrist, you will see a sign for Canal City on your left. Turn into the subdivision. If you get to Hwy 124 to High Island, you have passed it.

From Beaumont, TX

Take I-10 west to Winnie, then south on Highway 124 about 20 miles until you come to the beach road, Highway 87. Turn right on Hwy 87 and drive about 5 miles to the entrance at Canal City. Turn right into the subdivision. If you get to Gilchrist, you have passed it.
